Lots of stuff!

The August issue of Parrots magazine is in the shops from Thursday 19 July and we have another action packed issue in store for you. This month we include Lovebirds, Amazons, Galahs, Budgies, Macaws, an African Grey and Red-tailed Black Cockatoos and loads, loads more!

Do you feed your birds turmeric?

Every month we discuss in Parrots magazine different spices, herbs, plants and foods that can greatly benefit our parrots. The highly nutritious diet achieved by parrots in the wild on a daily basis, certainly by those that come from South and Central America, is very hard to provide for in captivity, but just a spoonful or two of a few suggested pure and natural foods can give a huge boost to their diet. Also, now parrots are living for longer due to better healthcare generally, so they are suffering from old-age diseases such as cancers, diabetes and arthritis etc. and these powerful foods can often help to prevent or cure these diseases. Turmeric is discussed in the July issue!
