November 2019 (Pantanal, Brazil)
Wild Parrots Up Close
The highlights of this trip will definitely be the Macaws, with 7 species to be seen in this area, including the very special Hyacinth Macaws. The Green-winged Macaws are also a great pleasure to see and what better way to do that than watching them fly below us in the ‘Macaw Hole’ known locally as ‘Buraco das Araras’, a large hole in the ground where we can walk around the edge and the Macaws nest, roost, feed and fly within the actual crater. Free 3 nights in Campo Grande extra to see the Macaw nest sites in and around the city.

The Help Bird Keepers Show
The ideal opportunity to get those essential items needed to keep your birds in tip top condition over the winter or even acquire additional birds to make up those pairs ready for next year’s breeding season. This also means it's a good opportunity to sell any leftover stock or late bred birds that were not quite ready for sale at the National. As always there will be many trade stands there selling all the essentials for keeping birds, so whether you are an experienced breeder or novice, there will be something here for you.
